About Pierre

Pierre is an osteopath and keen ultra runner. He has been running for over 25 years and discovered trail running in 2014 while living in Asia. Since then he's spent hours outdoors training and racing on mountains and forest trails all over the world. Pierre has travelled and run in Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Spain, Italy and France…taking part in the UltraTrail World Tour.

Now based in London, Pierre's passion for running and positive results on and off road over the last few years have seen him focus on the race of his dreams: the Marathon des Sables, Morocco. Pierre first competed in this unique running adventure - 250km in 6 stages across the Sahara desert - in 2021 when he ranked 9th. In 2023, Pierre is going back as part of an elite team with the goal to beat the Moroccans on their home soil! Moroccans have won the team competition for over 15 years consecutively and Pierre hopes to challenge them.

When does Pierre use Life Jacket and why?

I use the SPF 30 Daily Protection Moisturiser every morning to feel refreshed and energised for the day without having that oily skin sensation. I spends hours outdoors every week training, riding a bike or walking with the family. For me, LifeJacket's skin protection products represent a proactive approach to the dangers of UV light. My racing calendar sees me running in hot and sunny destinations where I often chose to wear UPF clothing to get the best sun protection possible. I also recently discovered the bar products and love using them daily in the shower.

Where to see Pierre in action?

Mostly run in South West London. The Towpath or Wimbledon Common are daily training grounds but his favourite running playground is Richmond Park, where he enjoys long and slower outings while watching the deer and rabbits from afar!
