In this month's edition of LifeJacket's #TakeLifeOutside series, we went down to Dorset to catch-up with Jun Chan, a very cool designer, cyclist and Specialized UK ambassador.

If anybody needs inspiration to escape the city and follow their passion for living life outside, they only need to chat to Jun Chan.

A former designer for Burberry, the fast-paced life of fashion and London was at odds with Jun's desire to maintain a positive life balance and spend more time outside rather than in the office. A new and growing passion for road cycling saw Jun first set-up his own cycle club in East London before taking his wheels to compete in races across Europe.

During the pandemic, Jun relocated to Poole, Dorset, where he now has the luxury of the rolling Purbeck Hills and New Forest winding lanes on his doorstep, as well as the freedom to ride without the boundaries of a 9-to-5 lifestyle.

In this short film, Jun talks about his experience growing up as the only Asian kid in his Welsh school, how that experience has driven him and his advice for anyone who wants to get into cycling.
