How to find your size

Chest

Wrap a tape all around the fullest part of your chest. Take that measure and use the ‘TO FIT CHEST’ column to find your size. An even better way, is to grab something you love the fit of. Lay it flat and measure from armpit seam to armpit seam. Cross check that against our ‘PIT TO PIT’ garment measure.

Length

Got a top that’s the perfect length? Lay it flat and measure from the shoulder seam all the way to the bottom hem, in a straight line. Cross check that against our ‘LENGTH’ garment measure.

This tee is cut straight from top to bottom making it more of an athletic fit. It has four-way stretch so it moves with you.

Relaxed, slightly boxy fit with a dropped shoulder seam. This is designed to be loose intentionally so it flows as you move rather than pulling tight. If you prefer a closer fit, size down - it will still have some room to it.

Between sizes? This top has a dropped shoulder and a wider fit. It's intentionally loose and flows as you move. Size down for a closer fit, but it'll still be relaxed. That's the design. Note on XL: the garment runs notably wider than the "to fit chest" range suggests. The dropped shoulder construction creates a larger jump between L and XL. If you're at the lower end of XL (108–110cm), L may give a better fit.

Designed to fit close so it doesn't bunch or ride up in the water. Not skin tight like a traditional surf vest, but a snug, secure fit is intentional. It's a thinner, softer fabric than traditional rash vests. The four-way stretch gives enough room to move comfortably whether you're paddling, surfing, or swimming. If you're between sizes, size down.

Between sizes? The pit-to-pit looks smaller than your chest size. That's intentional. Four-way stretch means it moves with you. If in doubt, size up.

Head circumference

Wrap a tape measure around your head, about 2cm above your ears. That’s your Head circumference. The hat has an adjustable cord, so you have a range within each size.

Available in small, medium, and large. The adjustable elastic cord lets you dial in the fit within each size, so if you're between sizes you can still get a comfortable, secure result. We'd suggest sizing up and tightening with the cord. The neck strap keeps it on when the wind picks up. When you don't need it, tuck it inside the hat.

What do you mean by a UPF sun hat?

A UV sun hat is a hat designed to protect the wearer from harmful UV rays from the sun.

UPF refers to the Ultraviolet Protection Factor which is a UV rating system that’s used for fabrics, similar to SPF for cosmetics. It indicates how much UV radiation can penetrate the fabric of the hat.

A UPF 50+ hat blocks 98% of the sun's rays, offering very high sun protection.

What makes a good UPF 50+ sun hat?

A good UPF 50+ hat should have a wide brim all the way around the hat and provide very small breath holes. These specific rules and dimensions are prescribed by regulators and testing standards.

The fabric must be made of high-quality materials that block UV rays and be comfortable to wear.

Finally, in our opinion, we believe that the UV protection should not be added to the fabric as a chemical treatment because it will wash off and degrade over time. None of our UPF fabrics are chemically treated meaning that they will provide UPF 50+ protection indefinitely.

When will I get my order?

Why should I choose a UV protection hat and when should I wear it?

A UV protection hat helps shield your skin from harmful UV rays, reducing your risk of sunburn, heat stroke and skin damage.

You should wear your UV protection hat whenever you're outdoors during daylight hours, even on cloudy days as UV rays can penetrate clouds.

Who will be delivering my order and is there tracking?

How does your hat sizing compare to other brands?

We would say our sizing comes up oversized to fit all heads. It is one size fits all but we made sure the elastic cord can adjust and hold so you achieve the fit you want no matter your head circumference.

Can I return the product if I don't like it?

Very good hat
Have not used too much yet as purchased for holiday in August. Nevertheless the quality appears very good, good size brim and fits very well . Adjustable head band provides good fit. Chin strap very useful to avoid losing hat in windy conditions, and stores out of the way if not in use.
