SPF 30 DAILY PROTECTION MOISTURISER
Two fingers' worth for face, neck, and ears. A coin-sized amount if you're just doing your face.
Right after washing. Face, neck, and ears. About 30 seconds.
Every morning, before you head out. Even on cloudy days. Around 80% of UV gets through cloud cover.
One bottle typically lasts 4-6 months with daily use. No need to reapply unless you're in prolonged direct sun.
Apply to your ears and the back of your neck, not just your face. These are the spots most people miss and the first to show sun damage.
Room temperature, out of direct sunlight.
When do I use this vs the SPF 50+ Sun Gel?
Different jobs. This moisturiser is for every morning: commuting, working, popping out. The Sun Gel is for high-exposure days: long hikes, beach trips, outdoor sports, anything where you're out for hours. It stays put through sweat and water, but it still needs topping up. You won't apply SPF 50+ every morning. You will apply this.
Do I need to reapply during the day?
Not usually. For office work, errands, and normal daily activity, one morning application is enough. If you're spending extended time in direct sun, switch to the SPF 50+ Sun Gel and reapply every two hours.
"I use it post shave. Then I am happy knowing that I have some sun protection no matter what the weather forecast says. Fast absorbing, none greasy what's not to love."
"I think I'm on my third or fourth bottle. It gets used every single day and helps to keep my skin in good condition; it really helps with ingrown hairs too."
DAILY REPAIR MOISTURISER
Two fingers' worth for face, neck, and ears. Same as the daily protection.
After cleansing in the evening, while skin is still slightly damp. Mousse-like consistency. Let absorb before bed.
Every evening. Repairs and strengthens your skin barrier overnight. Brilliant after a long day outdoors.
4-6 months with nightly use. A little goes a long way.
After heavy sun, wind, or cold, apply a slightly thicker layer. Your skin needs more recovery help after big exposure days.
Room temperature, out of direct sunlight.
Can I use this in the morning instead?
You can, but it doesn't contain SPF. For mornings, the Daily Protection Moisturiser is a better fit. This one is designed for evening repair.
Can I use it on my scalp?
Yes. Several customers use it on a dry or flaking scalp with good results. A small amount at night, rubbed in well.
"I love using this as a night time application at the other end of the day to my SPF 30 morning moisturiser as it smells great and has a really luxurious feel on the skin, whilst absorbing fully without leaving a greasy residue. I have come to moisturisers late in life and do sometimes forget - however notice a huge difference if I now miss a couple of applications in a row."
"It's non-greasy & easily absorbed and I have had great results using this at night on a dry scalp."
SPF 50+ MOISTURISING LIP PROTECTOR
Like a regular lip balm. Reapply after eating or drinking. Your lips have zero natural UV defence.
Every day. One application lasts hours on non-sport days. Reapply more often during activity.
Oval cross-section: sits flat in a pocket, precise application around the mouth. No scent. Fits a running belt or trail vest.
Brilliant in winter for wind and cold. Works in extreme heat and extreme cold. Not just a summer product.
Keep one everywhere: golf bag, trail vest, cycling jersey, car, desk. You'll use it more when it's always to hand.
"Over a few 50+ mile cycles I have encountered, thanks to the British weather, temperatures from 2C to 18C and everything from rain to sun. My lips have stayed in great shape. On non-cycling days, one application easily works for the whole day."
"I used this lip balm for a long winter run and I normally have to keep reapplying due to dry lips. This lip balm application lasted the whole 12 miles and did a great job of keeping my lips hydrated."
FACE CLEANSING BAR
Wet face. Lather bar in your hands (not on face), apply the lather. Leave 30 seconds, rinse.
1% salicylic acid for gentle exfoliation. Clears grime, removes sunscreen, keeps pores clear.
Daily Repair Moisturiser straight after. Better absorption on freshly cleansed skin.
Doubles as a shaving soap. Travel-friendly in its aluminium tin.
Don't leave the bar sitting in water. Keep on a draining dish or in its tin with the lid open. This alone doubles the lifespan.
Draining dish between uses. For travel, dry completely before sealing in tin. Damp bar + sealed container = soggy mess.
Morning or evening?
Evening is best. Clears the day's grime and sunscreen, then follow with the Repair Moisturiser. You can use it in the morning too, but follow with Daily Protection Moisturiser (the one with SPF).
"I walk to work and back, so like to wash my face with this cleansing bar at night. Even though I have dry skin, it does not feel harsh and drying. I am on my second bar now."
"Creates a good lather with what seems very little soap. Also works well as a shaving soap."
BODY WASH BAR
Lather in hands or with a scrunchie, then apply. Use sparingly. Equivalent to roughly 200ml of shower gel.
Cleanses without stripping moisture. Clean but not tight. Fresh linen fragrance.
Doubles as shaving soap and hair wash. Keep one at home, one in the gym bag, one for camping.
Equivalent to roughly 200ml of shower gel. A little goes a long way, especially with a scrunchie.
A scrunchie or loofah creates more lather from less product. If you have both bars, keep them on separate dishes.
Draining dish. Don't leave in water. For travel, dry completely before sealing.
"Nice smell use it with a scrunchie plenty of lather last as long as a 500ml shower gel if not longer"
"I used this to save space and weight on a recent holiday, lasted the week and was left feeling clean and smelling fresh, will definitely be using one of these again."
SPF 50+ SUN GEL
A teaspoon per area (face, each arm, each leg, front and back). Most people use half what they need. Be generous.
15-30 minutes before going outside. Every bit of exposed skin. Don't forget: ears, back of neck, tops of feet, hairline.
Reapply regularly in strong UV or if you've been out for a long time. Straight away after swimming or heavy sweating. If in doubt, reapply.
50+ when UV is high (summer, beach, altitude). 30 for moderate UK outdoor activity. We make both.
Let it dry before dressing to avoid transfer. The slim tube fits a pocket or kit bag. Keep one in the car for spontaneous days out.
Don't leave in a hot car or direct sun. Excess heat can degrade SPF. If it smells different or has separated, replace it.
Will it run into my eyes when I sweat?
It stays put through sweat. That's a big part of why runners, cyclists, and athletes use it.
Do I need to apply it everywhere?
Every bit of exposed skin. Most people miss ears, back of neck, tops of feet, and hairline. If it's exposed, it needs covering.
I only apply a thin layer. Is that enough?
No. The SPF rating assumes full recommended amount. A thin layer gives a fraction of the protection. Be generous.
"Use daily in the summer. Marathon runner so spend a lot of time out on the road. Not greasy like all other sun creams. Doesn't run in your eyes and keeps you protected for hours. Also wear for hiking and dog walking."
"Goes on like white cream but quickly disappears and dries in as you only need a teaspoon per area. I let dry as much as I could before putting on clothes so no staining which was most important to me. Got amazing golden tan."
SPF 50+ MINERAL SUN STICK
Direct to face, ears, nose, lips. The slight white cast shows where you've covered. Fades quickly.
Quick touch-ups on smaller areas. Face, ears, lips, back of hands. Five seconds and you're done.
100% mineral (zinc oxide). Works immediately. No 15-minute wait. Apply and go.
SPF 50+ Sun Gel for body. Stick for face and ears mid-activity. Perfect combo for long days.
The white mark shows your coverage. Fits a cycling jersey pocket. Also works in extreme cold as a wind barrier.
Room temperature. Softens in heat (normal). Don't leave in direct sun or a hot car.
Can I reapply this mid-swim or mid-ride?
Yes. That's exactly what it's for. It fits in a pocket, swim float, or jersey. No need to stop or wash hands.
"Its size and shape means it fits easily into any cycling jersey pocket without being bulky. The stick leaves a white mark on your face which means I know where I have/have not applied the stick to and rubs in easily and is not greasy on your hands. Ideal for long rides!"
"This fits easily in the pocket of my swimming float and so I can apply it during a long swim! The reflection of sunlight during breaststroke has left my face red and sunburnt so I can finally protect myself out at sea."
SPF 50+ SUN PROTECTION SPRAY
Spray into hands first, then spread onto skin. Don't spray directly — direct application gives patchy coverage.
Every two hours, or straight away after water and sweat. Water-resistant, not waterproof.
Reapplying on the go and covering larger areas quickly. Arms, legs, shoulders, anywhere you need fast, even coverage without rubbing in.
Lightweight, non-sticky, absorbs quickly.
Hands first, then spread. Five extra seconds gives much better, more even coverage than spraying directly.
Room temperature, away from direct heat.
"Sunscreen is a pain if you run every day. So frequently don't bother. But this takes away the hassle, quick and easy to apply, doesn't run off with sweat or rain."
"I use the gel as first application each day of a holiday and then use the oil to top up protection after swimming."
UPF 50+ ACTIVE TEES
Running, cycling, hiking, water sports. Anything involving sweat or water. Moisture-wicking, quick-dry. Short and long sleeve.
Slightly loose for airflow. Long-sleeve has a raised collar. Runs slightly large: consider sizing down if between sizes.
SPF 50+ on exposed skin (face, hands, neck). The clothing covers what it covers. Everything else needs SPF.
Machine wash cold. Hang dry. UV protection is in the weave and won't wash out.
Active tees dry much faster than casual tops. Choose active for sweat or water. White fabric can pick up sunscreen marks: wash promptly.
Active or casual? Which do I want?
Active for anything involving sweat or water (running, cycling, kayaking). Casual for everyday wear (walking, gardening, days out). Active tees dry faster. Casual tops feel more like cotton.
"Very comfortable to wear. Love the looser style as allows the air to circulate. Stays fresh. I wore the top 3 times on long hilly walks before I washed it. It gives me confidence to enjoy the outdoors."
"Really like this top, withstood kayaking in the Andaman sea and kept my skin protected from the sun throughout, despite being repeatedly in the water and kept on while swimming. Dried super quick and washed really well."
UPF 50+ CASUAL TOPS
Everyday wear. Walking, gardening, days out. Cotton-like feel with UPF 50+ built in. Tee and collared long-sleeve.
True to size. Collared top has a raised neck. Maintains shape. No ironing needed.
SPF on face, hands, and exposed skin. Casual tee = arms need SPF too. Collared top covers more.
Machine wash at 30. Hang dry. Straight from the line, no ironing. UV protection is permanent.
Works on its own when warm, or as a lightweight layer when cooler. More cotton-like than active tees. Not for heavy sweat or water.
"It works in its own right if it is warm/hot or as an over-layer if cooler. I use their active tops if I know I am going to be sweating or there is water involved as they are quick dry and their casual tops otherwise."
"It washes well at 30 and needs no ironing. Ready to wear straight from the washing line!"
UPF 50+ RASH VEST
Surfing, paddleboarding, sailing. Form-fitting without being restrictive.
Raised collar. Comfortable even soaking wet.
Sun Gel on all exposed skin before getting in. Mineral Sun Stick for quick touch-ups on face and ears mid-session. Sun Spray for fast reapplication on arms and shoulders.
Rinse in fresh water after salt. Machine wash cold. Hang dry.
Between sizes? Go smaller for better fit in water.
"Comfortable and form fitting without being restrictive, and withstood the abuse hours in small racing dinghies without any signs of wear whatsoever. Even when sopping wet it was still comfortable to wear without feeling cold or claggy."
"Love this rash vest so much I bought another one. Pockets in back are a great feature, allow you to carry keys, sun cream etc without it getting in the way."
UPF 50+ WIDE BRIM SUN HAT
Full head, face, and neck UV protection. BS 8466 certified. Brim designed to protect your entire head.
Sweatband. Ventilation holes at the maximum size the standard allows. A standard cap would fail this test.
SPF on face (reflected UV from water and sand still reaches you). Mineral Sun Stick for nose and ears.
Spot clean or hand wash. Air dry. UV protection doesn't wash out.
Still apply SPF to your face. The hat shades you, but reflected UV from water, sand, and concrete bounces up underneath the brim.
"I wore the hat all the time whilst in the sun and it provided shade for my face and I didn't get sunburned. I also loaned it to my husband whilst he was fishing and he liked it so much I very nearly didn't get it back!"
ANTI-CHAFE BAR
Soften in hands for 10 seconds, apply to dry skin. Inner thighs, underarms, nipples, collar bones, gear contact points.
Before running, cycling, hiking. Apply to completely dry skin. Already sweating? Dry the area first.
Ultra-distance: reapply at aid stations. Shorter outings: one application is enough.
Foot lube for blisters. Chamois cream alternative for cycling. Cracked hands in winter.
Timing matters more than amount. Apply before you start, not once you're feeling friction. By the time you notice chafing, the skin is already damaged.
Keep in its tin. Softens in warm weather (normal). Don't leave loose in a hot bag.
"Lifejacket is the first product that's completely stopped chafing for me, I recently ran a 70km ultramarathon and I used Lifejacket before and during the race. I had no chafing whatsoever."
"It has been my go-to foot lube since June. It takes slightly longer to apply than my previous lube-in-a-tube, but the results are definitely worth the extra effort. It has proved itself on long training sessions and events, in hot/sweaty weather and on wet/boggy trails."
HEAVY DUTY HAND BAR
Warm in hands for a few seconds, rub over hands and fingers. Knuckles, cuticles, fingertips. Let absorb for a couple of minutes.
Before manual work (barrier) and again in the evening (repair). Excess works well on forearms or face.
Construction, gardening, sailing, cleaning, outdoor trades. Cracked, dry, weathered hands.
Slightly greasy initially. Give it 2 minutes before handling your phone or keys. Absorbs well after that.
Apply before work, not just after. The barrier helps prevent damage in the first place. Rub any excess into your forearms.
Keep in its tin. Warms quickly in your palms. Keep dry between uses.
"Been using the Heavy Duty Hand Bar every day before starting work on site. I have continued to apply at night as well and over the period it's given my hands the TLC they needed."
"I work a manual job in British winter and therefore my hands are always cracked and cut but so far this is definitely giving relief."
