SPF 30 Daily Protection Moisturiser

Using a daily moisturiser with SPF helps protect your skin from harmful UV rays that damage the skin every single day. SPF 30 blocks 97% of UVB rays, providing excellent daily protection against UV damage and premature skin ageing. Even in cloudy conditions or a cold winter's day, UV rays can damage your skin. Using a moisturiser with SPF helps protect your skin year round. Not only do you get protection but the product also keeps your skin hydrated.

While both offer SPF 30 and UVA / UVA 5* protection, the Sun Gel is an alcohol based, white gel that we would say is a sunscreen first. The small amount of alcohol we add means that you get what's called 'flash' on the skin so once you put it on, it spreads quickly and doesn't feel greasy.

The Daily Protection Moisturiser is a moisturiser first and is designed for daily use. It is a fragrance-free, aqueous cream with added moisturising ingredients. It is also non-greasy and doesn't leave a white cast.

We try to get every order out the same day up until 4pm during the week. From then, please allow 2-3 business days for your order to arrive.

We use a tracked service for nearly all of our deliveries. You will get an email from us when your order has been despatched which will include the tracking details.

The majority of our products fit through the average letter box. In the event your order doesn't, Royal Mail will leave a card letting you know they tried to deliver and what the next step is (either your order was left in a safe place or it has been returned to your local sorting office where it can either be collected, or a redelivery booked).

All of our products are clinically and dermatologically tested and approved for use on sensitive skin and are suitable for all skin types. If you have any questions about specific ingredients, please just give us a shout.

LifeJacket exists because skin cancer is 90% preventable and people aren't protecting themselves enough. What goes into our products matters to us more than it matters to most. So when a rating app flags one of our formulations, we take that seriously. And then we look at the science.

The ingredient flagged is Octocrylene, a widely used UV filter that's been approved under EU cosmetic regulations for decades. EU cosmetic law sets strict legal limits on the concentration of each ingredient permitted in a formulation. Those limits aren't arbitrary. They're the output of decades of scientific review by some of the most rigorous regulatory bodies in the world. We formulate within them. Every product we make is also independently safety assessed before it reaches market, with a review of the precise ingredient composition. That's the kind of rigorous, context-aware evaluation that tells you whether something is actually safe.

Rating apps can't do that. They flag ingredients by name, without knowing the concentrations in the finished product. That context is fundamental. Without it, you're not assessing safety. You're just reading a label.

We also believe in choice. If you'd prefer a mineral-based formula, our SPF 50+ Mineral Sun Stick uses zinc oxide and titanium dioxide and scores well on these apps. It's a brilliant product.
